A Visual Novel Is A Book Inside A Game

A visual novel is an interactive fiction video game featuring a text-based story with spirit-based visuals with live-action stills.


According to the Visual Novel database (VNDB), the first-ever Visual Novel game was Lolita: Yakyūken (Baseball Fist,) invented in 1982.
