The history of fashion from 1950 to 1959 was significant as many new trends for youths and women came up: Christian Dior ‘The New Look’, Coco Chanel and also styles by Cristobal Balenciaga.
1. The new look’s full-skirted influence brought back femininity to women’s wardrobes. Circle skirts were everywhere, including the poodle skirt which employed applique designs.
